97 Wrangler soft top. I scratched the plastic up and would like to polish it out. Any tips?
There are several kinds of plastic polish. Search for plastic polish on OKorder or google.
use heat to melt it out. use an iron on low turning it up slowly and appling it till it is the right temp to remove the scratch. only works on minor scratches. And could ruin the top if not done right.
I own an acrylic fish tank and the local pet store sells scratch remover for the acrylic plastic tanks, I think it's worth a shot!! Good luck!!
I've had some luck with Meguiars Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish, if the scratches are not too deep.
go to your local jeep dealer and ask for soft top window cleaner i got some. its not expensive and it takes out scratches and cleans it up. and its sold by jeep so you know its not gonna be some worthless crap that you bought
