Question:

Rented a costume and I need to resize a bit WITHOUT sewing?

I have a rented costume for comic con but the gloves are really big and keep sliding off and i also have long pants can anyone tell me ways I can make them fit without sewing since it is only a rental. They didnt have sizes so it was this or nothing :/

Answer:

No. Not by themselves. What they will do is cut way down on reflections which will make the room more soundproof than it is. All materials have specific sound absorption properties. Some materials, like glass and ceramic are highly reflective. The Auralex studiofoam wedges are engineered to be as sound absorbent as possible - certainly they do not amplify sound. Quite the opposite. Still, some sound, particularly bass frequencies, will pass through them. To make a room truly sound proof it has to be built specifically for that. Typically with very dense walls and suspended on springs.
Yes, most tire shops can replace a wheel stud. You may want to call them first to see if the can, then head over and have them do the work.
Looks good. You might run some flashing under the pan material and over the siding under the window sill outside to wick the water out. You might also consider a plain glass window and adding an opaque window film so you can change it out. I like it. Good luck.
