Question:

replacement keyboard?

I have a Pavilion a1019h comp. and the keyboard is broke. The keyboard is not included with warranty. Can anyone tell me what keyboard is included with that model? My comp. came with the hpvs15 monitor, but I threw the keyboard away before I could get the model number. If possible, I would like the same keyboard. If not can you tell me where I can find hp keyboards with volume control. Thanks

Answer:

You can go here, look at the pics and see what keyboard looks like the one you had . This is of course if you really want to replace it with the same one that originally came with your computer. I hope you realize that most if not all keyboards are universal. :-)~
Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . I have found the details given at fixit.in/keyboard.html is more useful. Try here, if you can get a suitable keyboard!
The only place you will find an HP keyboard is on the HP site! I wouldnt waste my money tho! Its gonna cost a small fortune and you can easily pick one up with the same features at your local staples!
I Have The Some Keyboard as you do. I Got Mine at Fry's Electronics. ANYTHING THAT YOU NEED FOR ELECTRONICS! FRY'S HAS IT!
Keyboards are pretty universal. If you go in to a large electronics/computer store and pick one you like with a volume control it will work.
