Question:

Rocket fire in a home movie!?

This is more a 'How To' question since I've looked everywhere on the net? I am making a 'Sci-Fi' space movie with a lot of miniatures and models liked they did in the 1950's 60's. when My rocket ship 'blast off' 'lands' how do I make 'rocket fire' ..like they did in those old movies! Most of my models are 'plastic' so I can't stuff 'fireworks' up in the ends..cause they'd melt! Just wondering!

Answer:

What school are you going to? Also I can almost assure you 99.9% that MySpace will be blocked at school for obvious reasons.
Greetings, . And I think you may be referring to the smoke detector in your home. The smoke detector is an alarm to let the residents know that smoke is present, and is typically not linked to the fire department. They are in many cases, linked to a security system and the security people mat call in the event of a smoke detector being activated. Hope that helps.
The only toxic component of any consequence, in a smoke detector is the battery. The plastic can be recycled. Remove the battery and throw it(the smoke detector) in the recycle binunmarked.
