Question:

rolled copper pipe leak?

I had a water pipe break It's 1/2 inch copper tubing I don't know how to solder. I looked for compression fitting but the 1/2 would not fit the 1/2 inch shark bite is 2 small so I just cut it and be a hose on it for now but now that is leaking. I don't have money for plumber . Could some one tell me how to fix this . I would think there would be some kind of solders repair for this

Answer:

I use an oxy/acetylene brazing torch its much quicker.I have a Harris mini torch I got from Lows.
some co monitors are sensitive to high humidity conditions I suspect that instead of CO triggered the alarm
The fumes that come from the hose are not good for you, don't use it. To contaminate water that will be used for washing clothes that will be removed, is safe, breathing it isn't. Use a food grade hose, go to Home Depot or Lowes, or even Walmart might have a hose intended for drinking water; usually to connect a fridge to the faucet for the ice machine, or filtered water. That is safe to use.
