safe layout and organisation of rooms, equipment, materials and outdoor spaces?

Answer:

just ask the dealer, and than
I've got a draught excluder that looks like a snake he lies across my door at night :-) Also keep your curtains open on a sunny day, maybe buy a rug particularly if you've got thin carpets or wooden floor. Wear thick socks, use hot water bottle and get busy more often with your boyfriend!
For any appliance requiring the production of heat forget about batteries and go to AC from a 6V or 12V transformer. When's the last time you saw a battery operated hair dryer, space heater? Or if you must use batteries use one of a size appropriate to the job. A deep-cycle 12V marine or RV battery would power your foam cutter nicely and you could recharge it between jobs. 9V batteries are for powering devices with very little current draw; smoke detectors, answering machines, etc. Do you know what is inside a 9V battery six little cells, each way smaller than a AAA cell, connected in series so their internal resistances are additive.
