i need some ideas for a can crusher that crushes the can and takes only 8-16n to crush it. it needs to be as simple as possible for i don't think i could create some sort of machine in which all you have to do is push a button and watch it do the work. also its due on march the 18th, so i really need help and fast!
Put a 15n downward Force on it and hit the side with 1n of force. Those are aproximations but if you put pressure on the top and cause deflection in the side the can will crush pretty straight down. Its similar to having someone put their foot on the can and someone else flicks the side
Not sure if this is the type of project your looking for, but you can do this for your project: You put a little bit of water in a soda can and heat it up. Heat it until you hear the water boiling and see steam. Then using tongs(the soda can will be hot), you turn the can over into a container of room temperature water. The can will immediately be crushed.
