Answer:

Try a water bottle (like you'd buy bottled water) wrapped in aluminum foil, and surrounded by packing peanutsStyrofoam is a good insulatorThe foil will reflect heat back into the containerThe old thermoses had a glass inner bottle with a metallic mirror like coating, then some insulation between that and the outer containerA 16.9 ounce plastic bottled water is about 8 inches tallIf you're making a cylinder, your diameter should be less than 5 inchesYou could go get a PVC pipe from the hardware store.
you can buy tubing that has been split to cover it, check your local harware store, theres a few options from plastic tube- or metal wiremold materialsthe neatest way would be to cut and bury-a bit of a headache but.you ever think about maybe backing it up through a adjacent wall and feeding it through that wall space, ya theres a bit of cutting and snaking- and patching afterwards- but you will never have to see it again!.
You didn't think the power needs and how to get them to the area needed at did you ? Anyway I'll tell you that there is nothing short of demolition, I can picture what this set up looks like and the trouble to cover the romexBest for looks, will be to even out the wire get some nail sets that are for cable, it my be slim picken's, depends where your casitas is locatedRun cable as flat as you can up thru the whole to the atticCover with just enough chalk to even out the corner, no longer a 90degreeGood luck.
Take a look at the link below, I have used wire casing or plastic raceway to hide romex cable in a corner areaIts easy to install and cut, normally can be found at electrical supply house.
yes there is you can find this at major hardware stores it is a cover made of thin metal that you can get in many different colors or you can also paint to match your walls it comes in different lenghts you can cut them done to fit any wall plus they have many different angles to make this work and it is not that expensive
