Explain how the process of sea-floor spreading supports the spreading zones between continental plates
it is bcoz the lava beneath comes up and pushes the two continental plate, hence the sea floor spread.
Sea floor spraeding occurs due to the plate movement called diverging.two plates will move apart and there forms a fissure and through that magma(molten rock)comes out and forms a new sea floor.this process is called sea floor spreading.thus zones will get increased in their area.
