Question:

shafts for driver and irons?

if i have a stiff shaft for my driver, a Burner, then should i get irons with stiff shafts to?

Answer:

The flex of a shaft can be varied depending on the needs of the golfer. Stronger golfers tend to swing faster and therefore need a stiffer shaft to keep the club head from lagging too far behind. You can get a stiff graphite shaft. they make them in all sorts of flexes. I don't think anyone is suggesting you get it in steel. I'd see a club fitter if I were you. Any good golf pro can analyze your swing and tell you what degree of shaft flex you need. Good luck.
usually iron shafts are stiffer than driver shafts so if u have a stiff shaft for your driver, you should definitely get stiff shafts for your irons
Typically, yes, but it depends on your swing speed on your irons. Personally, I use a stiff shaft (Aldilla NV) on my driver, but use the stock regular flex graphite shaft on my irons as I swing very easy on my irons. A club fitting would be the best way to go.
