Should I get a good truck and crappy car or vice versa?

I am 15 and I want to get a truck or car. I want my truck to be lifted and a car just for ripping around. Which way would be better?

Answer:

Lifted truck with bigger tires would Gas Hog. Starting out I would buy a crappy car first then save up for a truck.
