Question:

should i wrap ceramic coated headers?

will the headers turn that blue tarnish color? Will it actually dissipate heat better? I have a 97 cobra and was told that if i wrap them then I‘m going to run into a problem with the steering shaft/linkage Thoughts?

Answer:

the ceramic coating looks good, using the wrap is to protect the contents of your engine bay from excessive heat off the headers. Wrapping defeats the purpose of having ceramic coating but will keep wires, computer, plugwires, and misc other electrical and plastic tidbits from being damaged by the extreme heat of exhaust. As far as the steering linkage just be sure it isn't rubbing on the wrap and you will be ok.
I 100% agree with the other answer
