Im trying to make a house that you can rent out but for some reason its not working.When I go to use the cheat to change the lot (changelotzoning apartment base) it works and no message comes up saying it's wrong but then when I go out into the neighbourhood to move a family in it wont let me and the price of it shows as $0 to $0.I have looked at my house to see if there are any mistakesI checked that it was the right door and that it was the right way aroundAnd i also checked to make sure that was the only door to outside, which it is apart from one which is on the third story and is blocked off with railings.what do i do to fix this?please help :)

Double, no triple, check all your walls to make sure there isn't a gap in the floor planYou said that the price comes up as $0-$0, which makes me believe that the cheat is working, but you forgot to enclose a part of the apartment Does your apartment have an elevator in it? I think that some people had problems with them, but I can't say for certainAnd another thing, is your apartment on a foundation? And does it have a porch or patio that is connected by a stairway to an enclosed backyard? If it is, you need to add a small square around the back door using the floor dividers provided in PetsYou can't have an open backyard like that because the game treats the stairway as a hole in the floor planIf all else fails, feel free to upload some pics of the floor plan, or upload the house somewhere, and I or someone else will take a look to see what the problem is Good luck.
