I changed the battery this morning and it hasn't stopped. I tried disconnecting it, and it is definitely hardwired to the apartment. I rent, I've already called my management, but I was wondering what the issue is here.It is not an old alarm, and now it has a fresh battery?

Don't even try. There are other ways to open the door, some involve pushing something down between the window and the door, others use the flexibility of the door to get a wire onto the button. You do need to know the car model very well as what you do for each one is different. Better all round to steal the key.
