Question:

Smoke alarm sounding for no reason?

I was just roused from bed by my smoke alarm. I ran out of my room and by the time I got there it was off. No sign of smoke or flame. It was very unnerving all the same. While I was standing there it went off again for several seconds. I took the battery out and un plugged it. Anyone know if this was a regular malfunction or if I should be concerned and check for some other sign of trouble?

This Site Might Help You. RE: How do I disable/remove a hard-wired smoke detector? We just moved into a new house and we have a hardwired smoke detector chirping incessantly. I know that means the battery backup isn't present/working, except that adding a battery never stops the chirping. However, right next to the chirping smoke detector is a newer, *working* smoke
The locking hubs are part of the axle, not the wheel, so you'll have to look for wheels with the big hub center hole - shouldn't be that hard.
