Question:

Just need some quick advice on tires?

So, I'll make this short and sweet. Exactly one month ago, I got new tires on my car. Proxes 4 tires I believe. I was supposed to be driving home, which involves driving over Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State. Right now there is slush on the road, and it's snowing. Its about a three hour long drive. It isn't snow for the whole way, only when you get to the top and a little after coming back down.I'm a girl. I don't drive insanely crazy. I figure since my tires are relatively brand new that I should be alright? I just really need to know if it's a good idea with my tires being performance tires and not studded winter tires. Thanks!'01 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Answer:

What you would be demanding of your electronic device is multi-tasking and computing. Based on what you have said, that is what a device must do. The ipad and the Apple eco-system is better suited for computing. The Kindle Fire is an e-reader. It is not a computer. It may look like one, but hardly. The difference between the two is the processor. It may mean nothing to you at the moment, but the ipad has a superb processor called an A5 chip to do the types of things you describe. What is different about the A5 chip compared to the other processors is that it comes from Apple. This exclusivity separates the ipad from the pack in multi-tasking and rapid response to commands. The second thing to consider is the software operating system offered by Apple compared to . Their really is no comparison because the latter is a dedicated e-reader. To assume the ipad is a computer would be a mistaken. The ipad cannot compute per se. Rather it is supremely capable of light weight duties on the fly. Tasks that are not to burdensome yet complicated maneuvers must be done in simple plain ordinary looking steps. This is the ipad's strong suit. To the extent that you want to do do translation and hand writing recognition may really be a better cross between a ipad or a mac book. I would suggest you talk to an Apple store sales person to get to the nitty gritty of what you are expecting in your device. Best.
Kindle Fire is more better, because after it can satisfy your work, the lower price is attractive.
Home inspectors are such drama queens by trade. The reason they are is due to the fact that the state mandates what they have to do and note on their reports. The other big secret is that they judge all houses they inspect by the latest and newest code books. This means that a house that was built to code 20 years ago, could have major violations by todays codes. The biggies are usually air gaps for plbg and GFI plugs on the electrical. All that said, its not a big deal in the operation of the vent or the draining of the water heater, but it is a violation of code. If its an emergency drain, it needs to be plumbed outside so you see it leaking in the event of a water heater leaking. Its a fairly easy DIY project or about an hour or two for a licensed plumber. If you are doing a FHA loan, they will probably require it to be repaired before closing though. Your realtor can answer that definately.
