So I'm new into muzzle loader hunting and i was wondering is a heavier grain bullet better for my gun because the box of bullets said 300 to 350 grain so i was wondering which one is better for My Traditions Pursuit rifle.
Heavier bullets are for bigger game. Also, heavier projectiles result in (marginally) more recoil. For deer, I use PowerBelt 270 grain projectiles and 100 grains of 777. Good out to 200 yards.
