So, I rescued an under weight starving horse in the fall, spent the winter fattening her up and getting her healthy again, this spring she got FAT. No reason to think she could be pregnant, she was in with all mares, put her on a diet (at the vets recomendation), been exercizing her butt off and the poor thing delivered a baby boy last night all by herself! So now we have a super cute, haflinger/canadien cheval cross, going to be completely black colt. Any ideas for names?? Still getting over the shock of him being here and haven't been able to agree on one among the family. Mom and baby are doing great!
