Staggered wheels ,what are the pros and cons?

I have an X5 ,you think it will be ok if install STAGGERED wheels into it ,what are the pros and cons .Thanks

Answer:

very confusing problem. try searching on to a search engine. just that could actually help!
no real need to get winter tires. Good all season tires on your car will do fine. Drive in a slower more cautious manner in the snow and you will be fine. Just about any brand will do. Most reputable tire shops can recommend a good tire for your specific car for wear, traction and smooth ride.
challenging matter. seek on yahoo. that will can help!
pros more grip on turns better take off and better control in the rain cons the tires dont last as long as if they werent staggered but its not a big difrence i tihnk its worth it
For an all wheel drive vehicle, the only pro is appearance. The cons will be fitment (it will be hard to find a wider wheel with a shallow enough offset to sit flush with the fenders) and inability to rotate your tires. Staggered wheels are used on rear wheel drive cars to improve the grip of the drive (rear) wheels. This also has the effect of increasing understeer.
