All single-phase motors are not self - starting, that is, there is no starting torque. If the magnetic field of the pole has a rotational nature, the motor will start on its own as a three-phase motor and reach a normal speed. Therefore, any single-phase AC motor must have its own special structure to convert a magnetic field without rotation into a rotating property.
No capacitor single-phase motor is divided into pole and split type, and split phase is subdivided into two types: centrifugal switch, start type and differential relay. Take the cover type as an example.
Cover type starting principle: a cogging type stator similar to a three-phase motor is used, the windings are distributed, and a few self winding short circuit coils with coarse copper wires are embedded at the same time in some slots.
