Question:

steering wheel?

does anyone know how to remove my steering wheel from a 96 mitsubishi ecplise

Answer:

that sewer pipe junk does nothing for performance and hp/all it does is cause loss of gas mileage and if it picks up water--water cannot be compressed resulting in bent rods and loss of engine//sounds like a plan/if you want to hear the engine throw away the air cleaner/wont do anything but make some sucking sound
Go to a dealership , mechanic,or find your neighborhood car thief.
First disconnect the battery let it go for 15 min. to discharge the airbag then remove the 2-4 bolts in the back of the steering wheel. Then remove the yellow wire which is the air bag wire (possibly more wires depending on if you have cruise control, etc.) once the air bag is removed put it away from you cause it could still possibly go off. Then get a 19 or 22 millimeter socket remove the nut. Then get a steering wheel puller.
some time past interior the day of muscle automobiles, we ran not something yet chilly intake, earlier the days of each and all the emission stuff, no issues. yeteasily everyone became into clever adequate to stay out of puddles.
