Somebody recently gave me a good chair but the only thing is it stinks. The women had cats and she smoked. How can I get the nasty smells out of this chair?
Wash it. Snowballs in winter.
Do you have a spot where you can put it outdoors for a few days? I would shampoo it with an extraction shampooer, febreeze it and let it sit outdoors for a few days.
vacuum it real good,then try a wet cloth with a little bit of vinegar on it, ring cloth out so it's not dripping . test a spot first to see if it turns the color, if it's all right then lightly wipe the chair down,Don't get it real wet. if this doesn't work then try the same thing with a good smelling dish detergent instead of vinegar..Do not have the cloth very wet.
