Question:

Swapping honda civic d16Y8 to an LS integra motor. will wiring harness match up?

I have a 2000 honda civic I want to swap with an LS motor and turbo it. Will motor mounts / wire harness, etc match up or will there be any fabrication/ customization / extra's I have to get. Also is it recomended to use the LS tranny or will the D16 bolt on the the LS motor. Thanks!

Answer:

you have to use everything from the ls
Hell no, it wont, even if the harness match, what tells you that the inside terminals leads to the same sensor?, no way, get the whole wiring and ECU for the new engine, dont be cheap as you will anyway spend a lot in the turbo as $4500 USD will be needed for PARTS only! in that process you better do it the right way from start! Look, you can use a car performance simulator[1] to guide you in the process, there you can virtually do all this mods including turbo, and try different transmission gear ratios to see how the car would perform and choose the best setup
Honda Civic Swap Guide
No, you will need the ls ecu and harnesses. Any hydraulic b-series transmission will work if your swap doesn't come with one. Then you'll need 99-00 civic si(b16a dohc vtec) mounts, shift linkage, exhaust header, and axles. To turbo it you'll need an inner-cooler, turbo, exhaust manifold, blow off valve, larger injectors, fuel pump, turbo cams, possibly low compression pistons(if you're looking to run a lot of boost), a tuner such as hondata or neptune get it tuned (this is a must) get your ecu socketed and chipped for said tuner system, upgrade your suspension.
