Question:

sweating!!!?

ok so i sweat undr mah armand itz kinda imbaresing nw that iz summer n alln i tried secret clinacal diotorentn dat did not work!!!wat should i do!!!???

Answer:

I would go to the doctor and get a prescription deodorant and onnly wear cotton shirts. Polyester makes you sweat more because the material doesn't breathe. I wouldn't use baby powder because when you sweat it could clump up or be like paste. Are you taking any kind of medication? Sometimes medication can make you sweat more. I had experience with that before. You could also carry a piece of cotton cloth with you and wipe yourself every now and then and then also carry deodorant too and keep reapplying it. But I would definitely ask my doctor if there is anything he can do and get prescription deodorant from him. Also, go to the health food store and ask someone who works there if there is a vitamin that you could use to help with this problem. Don't be embarrassed to ask them this because they get all kinds of questions for different problems. Most of them are professionals when helping people. Good Luck!
i have the same thing. i sweat a lot more than other people, but i hide it really well. you have to learn to live with it girl. seriously. its called hyperhydrosis.just overactive sweat glands. i've tried secret clinical strength deodorant aswell. nothing works. as i said, you just have to learn to live with it, no matter what deodorants people suggest. you can get botox injections that stop sweating in your armpits but its really expensive. its one of the treatments for hyperhydrosis. tell your mom you think you have this. i think i do, but theres nothing i can do about it, i just have learned to hide it well and buy shirts that i dont sweat in. goodluck. i know how you feel.

Look at the active ingredient on regular Secret deodorant. Then look at the active ingredient on the Clinical Strength deodorant. I have, and I know for a fact that there's pretty much no difference. Talk to a dermatologist about your problem. He/she will definitely be able to help you more than over-the-counter deodorants. I had the whole sweat thing going on during puberty. My dermatologist prescribed me a liquid called Hypercare and it really does keep 'em dry. Good luck!
very confusing factor. lookup with google or bing. that will could help!
