I have a couple weeks of unlimited text on my current phone, if i switch to a different Virgin mobile phone tommorow with the same number and account, do i still have the couple weeks of unlimited text?
yes. I have a virgin mobile phone and I switched- you will keep everything in your account.
I suggest buying the phone in stores and then calling Virgin Mobile from your home phone for them to help set it up. If you cannot get to a store, then I don't believeeeee money will be lost on your account, but I would call them to make sure. And even if money is lost, you can always easily replenish it.
If you go through the proper method to switch phones, you will not lose anything. Call customer service. Its kind of a pain in the neck because virgin customer service is so full of advertising, but make sure it gets done right.
