Question:

Symbolism of the wheel in literature?

What‘s the figurative meaning of the wheel when it comes to comment about its mention in literature?

Answer:

A wheel could also symbolise something that is neverending or something that doesn't have a beggining or ending
In relation to what? What's the context? A wheel could represent cycles (i.e. cycles of nature), so could link in with the natural world, or with the cycle of life - birth to death and birth again. This could also link with Eastern religions/mysticism (reincarnation and past lives), or with Christian ideas of the resurrection of Christ. A wheel could also represent infinity, an unbroken circle. Edit: Ellen: Yes, that's what is meant by infinity.
