I have had my braces for almost a year and a few days ago i was eating a hard bread roll and the bracket on my lateral incisor came off. I can now slide it across the wire between the brackets next to it. I was wondering if this is normal and if it would have damaged my tooth in any way?
Brackets do occasionally come loose. I doubt that you've damaged your tooth, but you do need to call your orthodontist and make an appointment to have the bracket re-attached.
