Question:

The ph of my garden is around 7 (neutral) is this too high for jalapenos?

I have a home gardening book that says jalapenos thrive in a slightly acidic soil (5.8-6.5) but mine is very near neutral at about 7. Is this to alkaline for my jalapenos or will be ok?

Answer:

They will do just fine.
