Question:

theres a tiny mantis shrimp in my aquarium does it really matter?

its a crusher i can tell that much but its only like 2 inches maybe

Answer:

A mantis shrimp can crack glass with its smashing appendage when it gets bigger, and they are a big nuisance in that they can harm other creatures and burrow into dead corals.
The heel on a crusher's claw can do serious damage to inverts like ornamental crabs, shrimps, and clams. At 2 inches he might not do much damage, but he may grow into a beast. Before you think about trapping and killing it, it might be an interesting creature to keep on its own. They're super intelligent and have amazing eyesight. So watch out when it grows, but consider trying to keep it. They're very cool.
