First check to see if you unlock the doors from the trunk or the passenger side you get the same result. If the other locks work fine There is an electronic swipe that grounds out upon turning the key that signals the alarm to disarm. Many times this swipe gets dirty and no longer makes good contact. You may be able to spray some contact cleaner into the lock cylinder area if you roll your window all the way down and gently pry the window and door panel away from the outer door skin. Otherwise you will have to remove the door panel. Spray contact cleaner while locking and unlocking several times, and this should fix the problem. If the other doors give you the same result with triggering the alarm you have a bad factory alarm (which many times is located under the passenger front floor board or under the back seat) or there is a break in the disarm wire which can be quite troublesome to find and fix.
