There are letters on the size of the tires and chains what do those letters represent?I bought chains for My truck Chevy silverado and never used them, my cousin has a Chevy Tahoe. The Box read the other measurements that the chain can be put on, there was a measurement almost perfect to my cousins size but instead of a P in the beginning of the measurement it had an LT. what does that mean? will the chain still fit? Hope its not confusing! Thanks.
yep, they will fit, the LT is for light truck, possibly a 6 ply tire, but as long as the sizes are the same, they should work
tires with a p are passenger rated tires with a lt are light truck rated. the only difference is the amount of weight the tire can carry.
