I have a toshiba A305 s6916 and it won't charge because the charger is'nt recieving power. I've changed outlets so i know its not that. My question is that if its easy to repair, this is the third charger i've gone through and i want other options before buying another one.

toshiba realy sucks mani change my charger 2 time now the problem is wid motherboardso i got my self a new computer hehei suggest u to buy a charger and chk the specification weather it supply appropriate power supply to ur lappy or notbcz if u use a wrong charger it will for sure damage ur battery or ur charger itself and buy genuine parts.njoy
Look the problem that you are saying, can be hard to say what exactly gone wrong to the laptop. unless and until some of these questions are clear. 1. dose your charger go's off when you connect it or when you connect and then power on the laptop. 2. might be your laptop's power jack is broken. so when you insert the charger pin its creates short circuit and then go's off.
It is either the power plug on the board or the power supply. Get another power supply first or go to a tech shop to have them test the voltage of the adapter and see if it works. Usually if the there is a light on it and it is not lit up then the adapter itself it dead. The adapters are usually about $35.00 and if it is a motherboard repair it is a hell of a lot more.
