Question:

toyota 2004 tires question?

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry LE - 4 Cyl. The tire number on it is: 205 65 r 15 m+s. And 94T. I want to purchase the BFGoodrich Advantage TA Tire - 205/65R15 94H BSW. Can someone confirm that this tire will fit my vehicle and be right? Thanks.

Answer:

This tire you are considering will fit your 15 inch rim. Will have the same profile, sidewall height. And will be the same width. This tire should work without any problems. Personally, I would change at least 2 tires or all 4. You want the same tires on both sides of the front and the same tires on the both sides of the back. Slight difference between the size of the front and back tires usually make no difference.
It's the same size tire, with a different performance rating. 205/65R15 is exactly the same size as 205 65 r 15.
It should fit fine. all the numbers line up. The tires you have are 94T - the T means rated to 118 mph. 94 H is rated to 130 mph. so that is an improvement. The tire you have says m+s (mud and snow) so may be a bit more aggressive tread. the BFG Advantage TA is rated as an all season tire so that's good. That should be a good tire for the Camry. BFG makes a good tire for the money - good value. I have bought several sets of BFG and have been quite satisfied. Some of the OE Camry tires like Bridgestone or Dunlop are overpriced.
