Where is a good, cheap place in the austin texas area to get my automatic transmission drained and filter replaced?
check the quick lube places.
I would trust the dealer before any Quicky Lube places. They will have the correct fluid (which is very important) and filter in stock. They will also have certified mechanics working on your car, and not some inexperienced kid just out of high school. You can expect to pay 75 dollars or so, which may be a little higher, but it will be done right. I have seen many blown up transmissions come as a result of poor maintenence or poor service work. A few bucks now could save a nightmare in the future. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck
