I'm sure you know all the pros so I'll give some cons: Goggles reduce your peripheral vision, sort of like a horse, with blinders on. Goggles make your face perspire and leave marks on your face and mess up your hair. Goggles can fog up from the vapor, and get scratched, reducing visibility. I'm not sure what type of gloves, but they all reduce tactile sensation (feeling) in your fingers. They don't breathe, so they fill up with sweat. Some gloves will dissolve on your skin if you spill certain things on them. Some people are allergic to they and some of the powders they put in them (for ease of insertion) Hope this helps.
You have very good answers on here, but I would like to add that you take care of your inner self. hair gets most of its nutrients from your body. Drink water, take vitamins, eat protein rich foods, and exercise at least three times a week. Hair is a direct reflection of your overall health. Condition your hair often. Hot oil treatments are great, get your ends trimmed every six weeks, try not to use heat on the hair more then once a week. and get a good daily moisturizer.
