Question:

True or False: You've used a real fire extinguisher to put out a real fire?

True or False: You've used a real fire extinguisher to put out a real fire?

Answer:

The gravitational force between two bodies is the mass of the first times the mass of the second divided by the square of the distance between them it can be writen m1*m2/r^2
I think it's got to do with the roatation of the earth. The earth rotates around the sun, while earth makes its usual day-to-night revolutions. There's also something to do with the earth's magma core that helps with gravity, but I'm not sure exactly how that helps. But as a side-note, the moon gets its gravity from the earth which is a very small fraction of earth's gravity, because it makes its rotations around the earth which is what causes the eclipses we get every-so-often. I don't know how much this helps, but there you go.
DF Why not just pick up the phone and call the retail provider you bought your iPhone from? Also, all new tech equipment comes with manuals. Have you opened it and read the section on alarm clock settings? And, there's always the option of calling apple for answers. If you choose an app that drains the battery, you can always pay a little more to get a stronger, longer-lasting battery. In fact that's on my to do list this weekfor my htc droid..G'day!!
First of all ignore those 'answers' saying that gravity is the result of Earth's rotation, magnetism, centrifugal force, etc.,. Einstein showed us that what we call gravity is actually a curvature or distortion in the 'fabric' of space caused by the presence of any mass. Imagine a thin rubber sheet with a bowling ball sitting on it. Where the ball (..mass..) rests there is a distortion (..gravity..) in the sheet (..space..) The more massive the bowling ball is, the more extreme would be the distortion. This isn't just theory either; countless experiments have proven that Einstein was right.
You assume correct. Although on earth the effects aren't so noticeable because of all the other forces (air resistence is one). But in space where things are left for a long while with no resistence things slowly drift together after time. Thats why theres the theory that everything will one day come back together in the 'Big Crunch'. But that won't be for a long time as we're still flying outwards from the 'Big Bang'.
