Question:

TSA & multiple laptops?

I have to travel soon for work and will have my work laptop and my personal laptop, hopefully. Can you take multiple laptops through security? I know I will have to take them out, just want to see if anyone knows about multiple laptops being allowed or not.

Answer:

you can take multiple lap tops but remember that you are only allowed one carry-on and an extra briefcase/purse. So you could only bring 2 bags in total.
yeah, i took my macbook and alienware onboard before. i got funny looks but w/e its not a bomb or anything i also had my dSLR, xbox 360, PS3 and 4 cell phones and mini camera. they said that since i'm traveling w/ so much electornics that it should expected that they ask for a open search of my carryon lol
Absolutely no problem. I travel with two laptops all the time and have never had a problem. The TSA has no restrictions on the number of laptops, as long as you are within the size and weight restrictions imposed by your airline you'll be fine. Most laptop bags and the one I use can easily hold two laptops, or put one in your carry on bag and one in a laptop bag which is what most airlines allow.
