Question:

Turning a dresser into a bathroom vanity? Flea market find?

I need some links to sites with unique vanities. I'm looking to make my own vanity out of a dresser I found at the flea market. I want to place a painted vessel sink on top, but I need some sites with this kind of information on a DIY project like this. Thanks

Answer:

the main considerable issues are the holes for the drain and the water strains yet u can do it,if is a clean sink, make specific u shrink the hollow some million/2 ' short, how u try this, face down the sink first and hint it ,then a million/2'returned and shrink, with a jig-observed ,good good fortune
If you just want a vanity, glue, or nail the drawers shut, remove the insides, cut a hole for the pipes, and for the sink. From there it's the same as any counter top. If you want the drawers to work it's not a DIY, unless you have plenty of carpentry skills. Whatever, finish with 2-3 coats of water-based-poly to seal. Oh, great idea! They're really classy!
