ALL vacuums work great at first when they are clean and with a new bag. you just have to take the effort to keep them that way.

Kirby's are overpriced and are a pain, and orecks don't work well (try the riccar supra lite if you like the oreck) Riccar is the vest value. Panasonic, Simplicity and Sanyo are good machines. (Sebo also but they are 400+) If you can, go to a vacuum store. They will have much better vacuum then a cheapy from walmart.
