Question:

vacuum cleaners?

I need a good quality vacuum that is not to expensive. I have a dog so I was thinking a pet hair cleaner. can anyone give me some suggestions?

Answer:

I have the Eureka Boss SmartVac. It was reasonably priced and it does a great job! I also have a dog that sheds quite a bit, and it gets everything! Plus, it has a feature where you can turn off the beater bar so you can vacuum your floor without scratching it. It's a Consumer Reports Best Buy. It's the best vacuum I've used, and I have used a lot (I clean houses). Good luck!
Loads of great quality vacuum cleaners at Nilfix...
Two schools of thought here. For less than a hundred bucks you can buy and upright, and it will work, but you will wear it out because it doesn't really work as well or efficiently as the more expensive models. But, because they are cheap you can afford to replace them as needed. I have tried a lot of them, the Fantom Fury was always breaking down, clogging up, in the shop, and it was almost $500. What a waste. I have a Eureka now, about $250 and it works well.
Get the vacuum of your choice. Use sticky tape or lint roller to remove hair on other things. Get a 20 x 20 inch Box Fan. $12 anywhere. Get a 20 x 20-inch A/C filter. $1 anywhere. You mat wish too put a sent on the filter as well. Place a/c filter behind fan, turn on low. The will stop the dog hair from getting into other things, ceiling fan motor, refrigerator motor, computer vents and other things. You mat wish too put a sent on the filter as well. (vanilla extract)
Depends if you have carpet or hardwood floors. Any vacuum would work as long as you have the 5 or so attachments it comes with. I have 2 cats and a dog, with hardwood floors. I use the upholstery attachment to vacuum the couches and beds, and it works just fine. Just make sure it has an upholstery attachment.
