Question:

Virgin Mobile phone problems?

I bought an LG OptimusV right before Christmas and for about a month now though, it has been freezing up. It is to the point now where at least twice daily it will completely lock until I take out the battery and replace it. Since this phone is under warranty still, I know I can get a replacement from Virgin Mobile. Is there any way though that Virgin Mobile could give me a completely different model? I've had so many other issues with this phone regarding battery life and now this freezing issue, that I really don't want another Optimus. Does Virgin offer any sort of discount on other models in this situation or am I stuck with getting another LG Optimus V?

Is there any way though that Virgin Mobile could give me a completely different model? The warranty replacement will only be another replacement Optimus V. Does Virgin offer any sort of discount on other models in this situation or am I stuck with getting another LG Optimus V? If you are pursuing the warranty replacement route, then you are stuck with another Optimus V, and they do not offer discounts on replacement phones. I would agree that the Optimus V is not a good phone, but when you look at how cheap that Virgim Mobile is, you can see how they cannot offer higher quality phones (basically it will be costly enough that it will cost them customers, as they typically want things on the cheap.). At least the phones that Virgin Mobile offers are better quality than those that Straight Talk offers (around 1 in 5 Straight Talk phones are defective).
