Question:

Washing machine problem?

My washing machine will not work on the spin cycle or wash cycleI can hear it as though the motor is going, but the drum will not spinWhat could possibly be the problem and how do I fix it?

Answer:

You are correct+3 means it lost 3 electrons, because each electron is -1 If the original number of electrons is 13, then you could look at it as -13+3 which equals 10For it to become stable it has to have a filled outer 'shell'The first one in this case has 2 electrons, and the Second shell has 8Which equals a total of 10 electrons, the fileld outer shell (8/8) means it is now stableIt has to give away 3 electrons for this I'm sure you get it, I'm just repeating myself now.
sounds like the coupling is brokenDoes it make a clicking or clacking sound during the wash or spin cycle? Did you over/load the machine with a huge blanket or comforter? The coupling is the part that connects the motor and transmission and instead of breaking parts in either of those units the coupling is designed to break, much like a shear-pin on a snowblower. It's not an expensive part and the replacement should be of better quality,(reinforced fiber instead of (nylon) plastic, which is original equipment)It's an easy fix if you know how.but it requires taking the cabinet off or at least tipping the machine on it's sideBetter to let a service man diagnose and repair itGood Luck.
a million and 2) an ion is an atom or a molecule which helpful aspects or losses an vanlence shell and then turns into anion(negtively charged ion) or cation(truthfully charged ion) isotopes is an atom which has the comparable form of protons yet diverse form of neutrons
