We took the sink out of our bathroom to put a new one in and we found the pipe corroded that is attached 2 the?

The pipe that is attached under the sink in the bathroom is corroded ,it is also attached to the wall.We cant put the other pipe back on bc their is no more threads to attach the drain.

It sounds like you are fabricating piping that will be handling water at reatively low pressure (less than 250 psi). It is not uncommon to use stubin connections for branch connections in such a system. I assume the NFPA has some standards for the construction of fire water systems.
it depends of what type of fluid you are conveying, there are many codes like asme B31.1, i believe you can download if from the web, hope that helps, good luck.
