Question:

Earthquake Safety ?

Well I heard its better to be next to a large sturdy object like a bed or sofaI see as that does make more sense than under, but what if the floor collapsed? (this seems to work if the earthquake isn't big enough to collapse the apartment)They say stay next to a wall that seems to make sense, but the sturdy object should be next to a wall.I cant do both as the object blocks the wall.(wall seems better for big earthquakes)Second thing I heard is stairs can easily be damaged by earthquake and should not be usedBut also said that you should get outIf you shouldn't use the elevator or stairs.how do you get out.?There isn't much about what to do in apartment besides stay there and pray you survive and get rescued. The media is all about house safety not apartment.makes you wonder why ughThank you

Answer:

Your plan is starving yourself that's not avery good plan.My mom does things simple. She runs to the gas station (literately) and gets herself some sugar free candy like for instance.Sugar free Turtle necks. It's good I even eat them. But you can't eat too many or they will make you gassy and have diorria(can't spell) But anyways you should get some Wheat Thins from like Big Lots and make some baked chicken with nothing but a little pepper or salt.Maybe if your tired of eating Turtle necks then you can always get some Snickers or Resses fun sized (only)
first, lose a meal if you can, its not that hardI can go one meal a day because i dont think about foodsometimes I eat 5 meals in one day tho hahabut anyways dont eat very much, train ur body to run on less foodand turn those 20 minute jogs into 30-40 minute runsI gurantte you will lose weight and be in amazing shape wich also feels really goodfind someone to run with to
great plan, although I WOULD suggest some protein, skim milk is good for calcium, and black beans are an excellent source of protein, but if you want an exception with less fat, broccoli is the way to go, spinach is really good toothe little 100 calorie packs are my favorite for snacking, but read the labels, looks can be deceivingstudies show too that eating more small meals throughout the day, rather than 3 main meals helps you focus and can help loose weight, but do whatever feels best for you.
Gold fish are a healthy snack, but don't eat to many Add some yogurt to your diet Fact: Eating yogurt 3 times a day for 2 weeks can help a person lose weight and live a healthier life styleExercise at least 30 min or an hour a day Don't starve yourself either cause that slows your metabolism and you can gain weight Eating cereal 5 times a week for breakfast help people live a healthier life style Fact shows that people who eat cereal 5 times a week are at a healthier weight So your breakfast plan sounds pretty good Lunch plan sounds good Make water your main drink for the rest of your life it help get your metabolism going if it's cold and helps you lose water weightDinner plandon't starve yourself from proteins like meat or eggs Skinless chicken is a good source or protein and low in calories Eggs are very high in proteins and are a great food
Mmmhard to say, the last large earthquake I experienced ('94 Northridge, I lived 8 miles away from the epicenter), I was in bed, trying to figure out how I was supposed to get under the bed with all that crap under thereOk, so I'm guessing you live on an upper floor of an apartment, from what you saidDoor frame is probably your best betAs far as the stairs, obviously stairs are better than elevators, as you'd likely lose power, so you'd want to check the stairs for safety and cautiously head on downAnother alternative is one of those 'fire ladders' that they sell, for escaping upper floors in case of emergencyNo offense, but if the floor is collapsing, that probably means the ceiling and roof is collapsing too, and it's not looking so good for youBest to be under something stable, like I said, door frame or a solid piece of furniture is bestHope I helped a little bit!
