Hello, All!I just purchased a pattern on ebay for an extremely nifty-looking entrelac overcoat to knit for my wife for her next birthdayI took a look at the yarn recommended on the pattern, and it is Wendy Orinoco Chunky yarn, which I did some research and discovered is a wool/acrylic/alpaca blendThe problem is that I could not find a website that looked as if it sells here in the good'ol US of ASo my question is, does anyone know if that particular yarn IS available in the USA? If not, what would be a comparable substitute? I'm looking for a nice attractive yarn that is not overly expensiveI'm also curious, are the skein (ball) sizes the same in the US as over in the UKso if the pattern calls for 14 balls of the Orinoco, will I still use 14 skeins of whatever chunky yarn I happen to use?
