Question:

were is the Power Button Connector on Motherboard?

I have been looking at some components to build my own desktop computer. I have found many motherboards that have everything I need but it doesn't tell me weather it has a connector for the power button on the Chassis. I assume that every motherboard has one of these and there is no need to list it. Is this correct? Thanks for any help! (I relies this is probably a really stupid questions but I just want to be sure before I spend money on computer stuff cause there is always that risk!)

Answer:

There is no SPECIFIC connector that connects the motherboard to the power button. There is a big cable (usually many colored wires together) that has all the buttons in one. (power, reset, LED's) Look at your motherboards manual.
