Write your name on the strap with a permanent marker pen. Scratch your initials on the eye bits, obviously not somewhere in the line of vision. That way even if the strap eye parts are separated both are easily identifiable as yours.
Don't use the small type magnets around little kids, they may eat them and bad things happen if they stick together in the intestines. The magnetic sheet is probably OK if they can't fit it into their mouths. Laminate the paper to the rubber magnetic sheet and cut out with scissors. They can be stuck to a refrigerator or steel sheet metal (not stainless steel, that isn't magnetic).
