DON'T PUT METAL IN MICROWAVES! It will some times catch on fire or explode. it sounds as tough you got quite lucky.
It sure does. i stuck a metal fork in the microwave. and it started sparking all over the place. it was scary. and then i got in trouble with my parents
metal will catch on fire in the microwave yes your microwave is probably ruined you should never put any form of metal in the microwave un less the metal comes with the microwave already
