Question:

What are the best windshield wiper blades?

my car is a mitsubishi lancer evolution 8.i need to be able to go to a parts store in the midwest like NAPA or autozone to get it.priorities are set like this.1. Few (or preferably no) streaking or missed spots2. Durable.and at least acceptable during winter3. Low (or no) noise

Answer:

Look on the sidewall. It might be hard to find in small print, but it's there.
depends close to the printed max [sidewall of tire] is usually ok possibly less if you weigh not too much like under 150 roughly like i said the real correct pressure ''depends'' but it doesn;t matter that much better too much than too little so go close to the max if you don;t know hybrid, maybe 50 or so wle
The blade is the metal springy part with the rubber in it. Do yourself a favor and don't mess around with department store stuff which never fits like OEM parts. If your Camry is 13 years old you need to replace the blades. They couldn't have enough spring left to properly hold the rubber (which, by the way, is called a refill) against the windshield. Go to your Toyota dealer and buy new blades for your car. They should cost less than $20 for both blades, including tax. In a couple of years you can just replace the refills. The blades will last a few years and the new ones will make your wipers work like brand new. It's nice to be able to see where you're going in the rain, right? Good luck.
Anything over $20.00 a blade is of decent to good quality ( people who say the cheap or the walmart are good enough don't mind settling for a streak here and there of replacing them more often) I like to buy Rain-X for moderate heat to very light snow / dew climates work great i apply both Rain-X products inside and outside the glass no problem. I like to buy Bosch Icon for the winter, heavy rain to snow/rain . add the both the Rain-X liquids ( i apply more constantly about 1-2 a week during heavy weather ) and i get no problem. Although like i said anything avrg $20.00 or more is a good price to pay if you want decent-to good wipers. I generally like Bosch good products. they can get pricey, but you get what you pay for Also look for anything that is made from real Rubber and not a Synthetic Rubber as overtime with sun/wind/water it will begin to harden and leave more streaks and be less effective. Real rubber takes longer to corrupt hence they are a bit more pricey-er Either way stroll around your local auto store check out which are the most expensive and the cheapest and if pray to god there is a knowledgeable clerk (becoming rarer and rarer in these shops) ask them what are their differences. why should you get the expensive ones and not the cheap ones. what recommendations does he make. ( if the attendant looks like they are in the same boat as you avoid them you won't get anywhere)
