What are the characteristics of barite ore source?

What are the characteristics of barite ore source?

Answer:

The basin formed a high Ba mineralization layer during the deposition period, but only in the later geological process can the vein vein deposit be enriched.
Barite deposit is divided into Chinese layered type, layered and vein type, transformation of vein type and accumulation type four ore deposit types. The stratiform barite deposits are obviously controlled by strata and lithofacies, and most of the vein barite deposits are related to strata in a certain period in the region. In some areas, stratiform barite deposits and vein barite deposits are all in the same age strata.
Barite deposits in the ore bearing rock series has its own characteristics, rock bedded ore deposit ore containing organic clastic rocks, siliceous rocks, and has augen structure; surrounding rock vein barite deposits of carbonate rocks and sedimentary stage often containing flint clastic rocks, generally have obvious change of silicon etching. Layered and barite vein were closely related with SiO2.
The other basin is shallow, oxidized and turbulent basin dominated by clastic rocks and shallow carbonate deposits.
The sedimentary basins forming barite are closely related to mineralization. One is a deep reductive water bearing basin. The sediments are small in size, low in carbonate content and high in organic content, forming stratiform deposits.
